Heist Brewery will open its doors early spring 2012. Founder Kurt Hogan is in the process of completely renovating NoDa’s Historic Highland Mill while maintaining the original industrial feel of the building. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a 10ft by 10ft custom-built brick oven. The brewpub will serve gourmet wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, as well as artisan breads including ingredients from the brewing process. GABF award-winning head brewer, Zach Hart from Fayetteville, NC’s Mash House will be the man behind the beer.
